2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account information: When you onboard with Kellan, we collect your name, phone number, and business name.
• Google Business Profile data: When you authorize Kellan through Google OAuth, we access your Google Business Profile account to read reviews posted on your listings and to post replies on your behalf.
• Customer contact information: Phone numbers of your customers, provided by you, used solely to send review request SMS messages.

3. Google API Data — Limited Use Disclosure

Kellan's use of data obtained through Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We access your Google Business Profile solely to read reviews and post review replies on your behalf.
• We do not use your Google data to serve advertising.
• We do not sell your Google data to third parties.
• We do not share your Google data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (e.g., secure infrastructure providers under confidentiality agreements).
• We do not use your Google data for purposes unrelated to providing review management services.
• We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you have given us explicit permission, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Monitor your Google Business Profile for new reviews
• Generate and post AI-written replies to your reviews
• Send SMS review request messages to your customers on your behalf
• Contact you about your account and our services
• Improve our platform and troubleshoot issues

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and Google credentials for as long as you are an active customer of Kellan. Upon cancellation, your data is deleted from our systems within 30 days. Review data (copies of reviews and replies) may be retained for up to 90 days for backup and audit purposes before permanent deletion.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of OAuth tokens and secure HTTPS transmission. We do not store plain-text credentials. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Google Business Profile API — to access and respond to your reviews
• SMS providers — to deliver review request text messages to your customers

These services have their own privacy policies and operate under their respective terms of service.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

• Revoke Google access at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing Kellan from your authorized apps.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing [email protected].
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting us directly.
• Opt out of our services at any time with no penalty.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
